Hugoton Lodge # 406 was chartered in 1914.  The first repeat master was in 1994. That is 80 years of new masters.  Elkhart Lodge 422 at Elkhart Kansas consolidated with Hugoton Lodge in 1986.  Then in 1996, Satanta Lodge at Satanta Kansas consolidated with Hugoton.  With the consolidations, Hugoton lodge servers it members in Stevens County (Hugoton), Morton County (Elkhart) and the western half of Haskill County (Satanta).
